Super Omaha Poker™

From the man who literally wrote the book on Omaha poker, Super Omaha Poker™ is the definitive casino poker adaptation. Super Omaha Poker™ is the most aggressive casino poker game with a single betting round yet devised, while focusing action on the single biggest action point in Omaha: The flop. After making a single Ante wager, the player begins with four hole cards and a three-card community card flop, at which point the player can either bet 1x-3x the Ante or fold. If the player bets, the dealer will turn up his four hole cards and then reveal the Turn and River cards for the final showdown.

As in real Omaha, each player's hand at showdown is the best five-card hand the player can make using two of hole cards and three community cards. All wagers always play -- there is no dealer qualifier, and the dealer will play with you with any four cards.

For extra action, make the optional High Hand wager.

Are You Ready to Gamble?
Super Omaha Poker™ delivers the most aggressive casino poker action yet for games with a single betting round. It is correct to play 82.9% of hands and bet the max (3x) on 47.3% of hands -- more often than in any prominent casino poker game. And with an adj. house advantage of 0.64% per unit wagered under optimal play, Super Omaha Poker™ also delivers one of the fairest gambles you can get on a single forced bet and a single betting round.

Strategy Primer
The basics of strategy are relatively simple. If you have any piece of the board or any draw whatsoever (as little as bottom pair or a gutshot), you are going to play. If you have a big hand (generally top pair or better), a big draw (any draw with 13+ outs), or a multi-way hand (pair plus flush draw or a pair with an open-ended straight draw or better), bet the max (3x).

Just remember that you are up against a random hand, and that the dealer will play with you with any four cards no matter how much you bet. The goal is to maximize the value of your bigger hands and draws whenever you are a favorite over a random hand.

Also note that it is correct to play on 82.9% of hands, which means that it is only correct to fold 17.1% of the time. As such, generally speaking, you should only fold if you miss the flop completely.
